“It’s an honor to be selected as the team captain. I will do my best to lead our team to victory,” anang charismatic sports hero.

Si Reyes ay sasamahan nina dating world champion Alex Pagulayan at Ronnie Alcano, kasalukuyang world no.1 Dennis Orcollo, dating world No.1 Francisco “Django” Bustamante, 2007 World Pool runner-up Roberto Gomez, dating national champion Lee Van Corteza at 4-time Southeast Asian Games gold medalist Warren Kiamco sa team based competition na ito na may nakalaang $40,000 pa-premyo.

“Champ (Reyes) is our hands down choice because he is the Michael Jordan of billiards. We are many Kobe Bryants or LeBron Jameses, but there is only one Michael Jordan, and that is him,” ani Pagulayan.

“We believe that his leadership can wheel us to victory,” dagdag pa niya.

Ang all-star Filipino crew ay makakalaban ng mga piling players sa pamumuno nina dating world titleholders Mike Immonen ng Finland at Thorsten Hohmann ng Germany sa tatlong araw na event na suportado din ng Billiards Managers and Players Association of the Philippines (BMPAP) at Quezon City Tourism Council kasama ang Solar Sports, RPN-9 at Philippine Star bilang media partners.
