MANILA, Philippines - Volunteer employees of premier lifestyle destination Resorts World Manila (RWM) recently spent CSR Day with over 750 students at Tuloy sa Don Bosco Streetchildren Village in Alabang, Muntinlupa for their culminating arts month activity.
In celebration of Arts Month, participants shared and enjoyed art through different activities including dance, skit, and speech choir presentations as well as performances of excerpts from classic Filipino literary works.
“Singing, dancing, and performing play a very significant role in the formation of people especially with our poor children here in Tuloy,” said Fr. Rocky Evangelista of the Salesians of Don Bosco, founder of Tuloy Foundation Inc.
RWM also shared snacks and gave away 800 pairs of notebooks and pens to the students and teachers of Tuloy Foundation as part of the company’s League of Volunteer Employees (LOVE) CSR program, which aims to promote charity work among its staff.
