White & a Man named Jack

Three years apres pioneering the concept of complementary fragrances with the simultaneous launch of Emporio He and She Classic, dahlings, Giorgio Armani expanded the idea with Emporio Armani White, pure, fresh, casual but chic scents for him and her.

Manille’s hip crowd trooped to trendy Pravda bar for a whiff of the fragrances. The presentation featured an all-white fashion show by young designers Stephanie Sarmiento, Paolo Raymundo and Kenneth Chua of Milkwear, and cool sexy casuals by U of Rustan’s. Models were Manila’s cool couples like Rustan’s Mike Huang and VJ Audrey Tan, Paolo Trillo and Janelle So, Lancome’s Ana Perez de Tagle and fiance Poy Divinagracia, L’Oreal’s Leica Carpo and Butch San Agustin.

Why White? Unadorned, it is simplicity itself, palanggas, conveying the minimalist sophistication so dear to Giorgio Armani. Inspired by the sensation of one’s favorite white cotton t-shirt over fresh, clean skin, Emporio Armani White is both refreshing and sensual.

The high spirits of "Raise a Glass to Mr. Jack" was entirely contagious as Manille’s brightest partyphiles descended on the RCBC Tower to celebrate the legendary man’s birthday. Jack Daniel–Mr. Jack–is the man behind the smoothest sippin’ charcoal mellowed drink in town, dahlings, Jack Daniel’s Whiskey. The spirit of Tennessee was certainly alive and swinging that night.

Guests were welcomed by a platoon of achingly sexy models dressed in hot, sultry leather, with holsters not for guns but for bottles of the best whiskey in the world. Ebullient host Tricia Chiongbian led the toast to Mr. Jack, as master DJ Robert Villaluz jacked up the energy level with his renowned beats.

Enjoying themselves immensely were Atom Henares, Louie Ysmael, Marcel Crespo and John Cu Unjieng; Jed and Robert Dario, twins Oye and Aye Nuguid, Ana Garamendi and Marianne Carandang. Proudly surveying the smashing success were Brown-Forman SE Asia regional director Chu-Pak Chu, country manager Alan Anastacio and brand manager Agnes Ballesteros.

Remember, palanggas, "Dedication to Jesus Christ is not a one-time choice but a daily challenge." Smile. See you.
