Two giants in their fields of endeavor — French-Filipino luxury brand Jewelmer Joaillerie and renowned designer Wynn Wynn Ong — recently presented their first highly anticipated collaboration.
Named “Jewelmer by Wynn Wynn Ong,” the magnificent jewelry collection spanned over one year in the making and is composed of masterpieces that are truly one-of-a-kind.
The by-invitation-only and sit-down luncheon at the Magsaysay Room of The Peninsula Manila was led by Jewelmer Joaillerie EVP and deputy CEO Jacques Christophe Branellec. The luncheon was graced by three statuesque models — Miss Universe Philippines 2016 Maxine Medina, Marie Ann Umali and Fatima Rabago, who glided around the room wearing the priceless works of art for all of us lucky enough to be invited.
We were also able to view the one-of-a-kind treasures created by the collaboration of the Branellec family of Jewelmer and the talented Wynn Wynn Ong. Truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience!
Jewelmer by Wynn Wynn Ong will only have a limited number of pieces available worldwide.
Congratulations to Jewelmer and Wynn Wynn!

Yuletide cheer at Marriott
Marriott Hotel Manila officially welcomed the Christmas season with the recent tree-lighting ceremony held at the hotel’s majestic lobby.
The ceremony, led by Marriott Hotel Manila general manager Bruce Winton, hotel manager Anna Vergara and director of marketing communications Michelle Garcia, saw the grand 26-ft. Christmas tree, adorned with gold ornaments and beautiful fairy dolls, lit for the first time.
The captivated guests, including Chief Presidential Legal Counsel Salvador Panelo, indulged on savories and sweets whipped up by Marriott Hotel Manila executive chef Meik Brammer and his kitchen team.
Guests were also treated to performances by talented young ballerina Sage Espiritu and Himig Roseña chorale, who sang memorable renditions of well-loved Christmas carols.
And because Christmas is the season of giving, the hotel is also raising funds for the benefit of Philippine School for the Deaf. Every purchase of Rio the Unicorn stuffed toy will aid in this advocacy.
Yuletide cheer truly reigned in the evening’s festivities, marking the beginning of magical cheers for the holidays at Marriott Manila.
