The healthy way to achieve your dream body

One of the country’s leading dermatology and cosmetic surgery centers, Belo Medical Group, continues to promote a healthy lifestyle among its clients. The center, along with its non-surgical sister company Sexy Solutions, recently launched the fitness book Your Dream Body Come True.

The book, authored by Belo endorser and fitness expert Edward Mendez, discusses the science behind the “Eat More, Exercise Less” principle that has helped Edward achieve his dream body. Among the loyal followers of the said principle are Belo Medical Group CEO and founder Dr. Vicki Belo and managing director Cristalle Belo Henares. The fabulous mother-and-daughter tandem testified as to how effective the fitness regimen was.

At the launch, a number of guests had the opportunity to ask the hunk author about his personal experience in following the “Eat More, Exercise Less” principle. Edward also discussed the extensive research he did to complete his first literary work.

Congratulations to Edward, Vicki, Cristalle and the entire Belo Medical Group team for this successful collaboration!

Picturesque Portofino

The winning snapshots that showed off the most captivating images of Italian-inspired refined living at Portofino Alabang were presented to the public in simple ceremonies at the Portofino Sales Gallery. Named winners in the Portofino Photo Contest were Romado Javillonar (first place), Jonathan Javier (second place) and Alan Prowel (third place).

The awardees were chosen from almost a hundred entries screened by contest judges One Mega Group executive creative director Suki Salvador, Portofino project head John Abbe Gardiola, Vista Residences corporate communications head Emma Ruth Amores and landscape architect Hazel Santos.

Named after a lovely seaport town in Southern Italy, the 300-hectare Portofino community exudes classic Old World charm in every aspect of its design. Portofino is one of many master-planned themed communities of Brittany Corp., a top-listed property firm headed by its chief operating officer Camille Villar.

Gifts from the heart

It has been a yearly tradition of the hardworking board of directors and staff of Boracay Regency Beach Resort and Spa, a Henann resort, to extend help to our less privileged kababayans through its annual gift-giving event. The worthwhile affair, headed by the indefatigable Henann Group of Resorts chairman Dr. Henry Chusuey together with his wife Anna Lissa, sons Henann Group of Resorts executive vice president Alfons and vice president for marketing Karl and daughter Christina, was definitely a success as a large number of Aklanons received packs of grocery items prepared by the resort staff.

Kudos to Dr. Henry Chusuey and the entire Boracay Regency team for this meaningful event!
