Straight from the tap

Water is the best drink in the world. Sparkling or plain and pure, chilled or piping hot, water can now be enjoyed straight from the tap, thanks to Grohe’s unique kitchen systems that revolutionize the role of the kitchen faucet.

These and other fascinating products from Europe’s well-known and proven brand of premium sanitary fittings provided the highlights at the unveiling of the Grohe Spa showroom at Wilcon’s Filinvest, Alabang branch. The launch was spearheaded by Wilcon president and CEO William Belo and senior executive vice president and COO Rosemarie Ong with Grohe Pacific Pte. Ltd. vice president for Singapore, Philippines, Taiwan and Cambodia Alpha Ang.

At the launch, guests personally experienced how Grohe fittings assure one of a cold or hot drink on demand with two Grohe under-sink bar stations: Blue for chilled, filtered and sparkling water and Red for instant piping hot water. Spotted at the event were Central Affirmative Co. Inc. and Signatures by Joel Cruz Inc. president and CEO Joel Cruz, architect Jose Mañosa and Philips Electronics & Lighting Inc. country manager for the Philippines Fabia Tetteroo-Bueno.

The relaxing massages offered at the sides and top-quality Grohe fittings as raffle prizes surely delighted the guests. Needless to say, everyone went home immensely enjoying water — the Grohe way.

Thank you Wilcon for the experience!

Homemade indulgence

Artisan chocolate bars are fast becoming the new luxury indulgence.

Mandarin Oriental Manila’s new line of signature chocolates is now available at the Mandarin Deli. The milk and dark chocolate bars created by executive pastry chef Darren Harding come in three mouthwatering selections: Salted Caramel Milk Chocolate, Crispy Praline White Chocolate and Rum and Raisin Dark Chocolate.

Mandarin Oriental Manila F&B director Peter Pysk attests to indulging in this sinful treat. As what one famous cartoonist once said, “All you need is love. But a little chocolate now and then doesn’t hurt.”
