A taste of Korea

MANILA, Philippines - Korean cuisine is certainly quite interesting. But more than just the usual bibimbap, bulgogi and galbi, this cuisine has much more in store that even Filipinos will find exceptionally appealing.

It is at the right time that Chef’s Noodle (better known as Guksoo Chef in Korea) has come to the Philippines. The popular fast-casual Korean restaurant recently made its debut in the Philippines and has steadily grown to several branches in just a short span of time, including its outlets at University Mall in Taft Avenue and Annapolis in Greenhills.

The restaurant has invited popular celebrity chef Choi In Sun to come up with hearty and mouthwatering dishes that are uniquely Korean. As such, chef Choi’s expertise in the kitchen has produced food items like Starking Fire Sushi and, of course, the signature Chef’s Noodle, a must-have for first-time diners at the restaurant.

The Philippines is the first country (followed by Hong Kong) to acquire the master franchise of Chef’s Noodle outside of Korea. It is definitely a pleasure to finally have in the country this well-loved restaurant chain.

To date, the Korean restaurant already has 65 branches all over Korea after it started offering franchising opportunities in 2011. And now, it has become one of the most talked about international restaurants in the Philippines with celebrity host and model Grace Lee as its proud endorser. As a Korean native who has lived in the Philippines for years now, Lee is a fitting endorser for Chef’s Noodle given her familiarity with Korean dishes and of course her appeal to Filipinos.

In addition to Lee, the restaurant is also proudly endorsed by charming twin cagers, Anthony and David Semerad, and up-and-coming pop group Down to Mars.

Chef’s Noodle has also recently opened at SM North EDSA - The Block. It will soon open at Robinsons Magnolia.
