No other fabric comes close to the intricate beauty of silk. Backed by a rich history and considered as a luxury item since the ancient times, silk has remained to be one of the most celebrated textiles in the world.
Recently, the global fashion brand Hermès brought Swinging Silk party to Manila!
An Hermès dance hall was built at The Peninsula Manila adorned with Hermès silk flags and retro scooters, which welcomed guests clad in their swinging ‘50s outfits. Iconic silk patterns were all in sight, from the ceiling down to the floor, setting the mood for a memorable night of dancing and exciting activities.
Deluxe comfort food was served complemented by free-flowing Yellow Tail wines and Piper-Heidsieck champagne that kept the guests in high spirits all night long.
Seen at the gathering were Hermès retail coordinator Thomas Collette, CATS Motors Inc. president Felix Ang, Angola Consul Helen Ong and Togo Consul Evie Costa.
Thank you Hermès for bringing this opulent event to Manila!
A Christmas village in Tagaytay
Everyone was in high spirits and teeming with excitement at the Crosswinds Christmas event held recently at the Alpine Village in Tagaytay.
A colorful motorcade, carolers at dusk singing under the tallest Christmas tree from this side of town, a unique Christmas store, a spectacular blaze of fireworks and a sumptuous holiday banquet more than charmed the special group of visitors led by Sen. Manny Villar, Vista Land chief executive officer Jing Serrano and Brittany Corp.’s marketing head engineer Earl Millanes.
Alpine Village, a cluster of buildings patterned after the quaint Swiss towns in the Alps, is found at the entrance of the Crosswinds community, a 100-hectare prime leisure development of Brittany Corp. The cool mountain air, fog, rolling terrain, crisp scent of over 20,000 pine trees and Swiss chalet-inspired houses all conspired for a holiday experience like no other.
