Happy birthday, Mika!

When the well-loved Mika Lagdameo-Martinez celebrated her birthday recently, her family and friends came in full force to celebrate with her. The club-themed birthday party for the money broker and VP of the Professional Models Association of the Philippines was held in the beautiful house of her very good friend Tricia Panlilio.

A DJ booth was set up amidst lights at the pool area of the massive house. Guests enjoyed free-flowing drinks and food such as Caesar Salad, chicken lollipops, siomai, spring rolls and lots of Greenwich pizza. Mika is a Greenwich endorser.

Tricia also gave the Rajo Laurel-clad birthday girl a cake. Those who were craving for sweets were delighted to find a chocolate fountain station at the party.

Mika’s siblings and parents, Butch and Vicki Lagdameo, were hands-on during the party. She gladly entertained her friends with her classic corny jokes that actually got some people laughing! Jokes such as “Ano ang hayop na palaging naaaksidente? Accident prawn.” and “Bakit kuripot ang lobster and shrimp? Kasi shellfish sila.” pervaded the night.

It was indeed a fun night for everyone. The party, which started at 8 in the evening, ended at almost 4 in the morning.

Happy birthday, Mika! Keep those “jokes” coming!

Into Instagram

I have succumbed — to Instagram! After a long period of trying not to join Instagram, I have signed up and created my own account. I have never used an iPhone but just got a new iPad 3, so I was coerced to join Instagram, which, I have to admit, is quite fun and addictive. So, in case any of you want to follow me (I actually don’t see any reason why), check my Instagram account @pepperteehankee. But I am still saying no to Twitter.
