Changing lives

MANILA, Philippines - Everybody dreams of a better life.

In its bid to help Filipinos achieve progressive lives and let them become a symbol of hope and inspiration to their families, Tupperware Brands recently launched its campaign Better Lives... One at a Time. The launch coincided with the brand’s 19th year in the Philippines.

Perry Mogar, president and GM of Tupperware Brands Philippines, said, “As we begin our journey towards our 20th year in the Philippines, we are reiterating our commitment and passion to change Filipinos’ lives. As a globally trusted multi-brand, multi-category direct selling company renowned for its strong heritage and reputation, Tupperware Brands has taken upon itself to give back to its loyal supporters through a campaign that truly empowers Filipinos to aspire for better lives.”

The company kicked off its new campaign by announcing its partnership with World Vision, aimed at providing educational support to 100 sponsored children by the end of the year.

It aims to realize the pledge of support through a Share the Love promo. For every Tupperware Brands product bought, the company will give a portion of the sales to the Share the Love fund, which will then be donated to World Vision. To date, the company has been able to raise funds to support 58 kids and urges its customers to support the remaining 42 through the promo.

After sealing the partnership through a ceremonial signing of expression of commitment, World Vision associate director for national resource development and public engagement Jun Godornes expressed gratitude. He said, “We thank Tupperware Brands for continuously advocating the welfare of Filipino children. With two global brands — Tupperware Brands and World Vision — coming together, the impact in the lives of children in need will be greater and the promise of a better future for them will be realized.”

During the launch, the Mandaluyong Children’s Choir gave a beautiful rendition of the song Bawat Bata. Child singer Anton Posadas rendered a medley of Broadway hits from Rent, Grease and Footloose.
