An inspiring collaboration

Innovative sisters Winnie Go and Willin Chan, owners of Beabi, the country’s leading multi-functional travel and storage accessories brand, have another reason to be proud of — the success of the recently launched Limited Artist Edition 2011 Tote Bag and Bag Organizer.

Held at the Gallery of Greenbelt 5, the captivating affair featured the inspiring collaboration of Beabi with three highly-admired personalities in the industry: renowned fashion designer Rajo Laurel, talented young actress Kim Chiu and pound-for-pound king Rep. Manny Pacquiao, who captured the spirit of today’s highly organized, fashion-forward individual through their personally designed bags for the brand.

The spectacular event hosted by yours truly and Tessa Prieto-Valdes was replete with a fashion show and an auction of the limited-edition bags that went to winners The French Baker’s Johnlu Koa and wife Marilou, actress Vina Morales and Aida Cobankiat.

Afterwards, checks were presented to the charitable organizations of the collaborators’ choice: ABS-CBN Foundation Inc.’s Bantay Bata, Bantay Kalikasan and Pacman Partnership for the Poor, Inc. plus a surprise donation to the EJ Litton Foundation, Inc. The fantastic affair concluded with a fun after-party with cool sounds courtesy of DJ Wency Lagumbay!

Congratulations Willin and Winnie for the very successful launch!
