The rejuvenating evening sky of Boracay was lit with smiles as both members of Manila and Iloilo’s high society trooped to The Boracay Regency Beach Resort and Convention Center. The resort, the first to be rated triple-A in the white strip and the biggest in the island getaway, recently celebrated its 10th anniversary in style. The Regency’s indefatigable chairman and president Henry Chusuey, with his beautiful and statuesque wife Anna Lissa and assistant GM Jade Estardo, welcomed VIPs from the diplomatic, government and showbiz circles including New Zealand Ambassador David and Arti Pine, Turkish Ambassador Adnan and Oya Basaga, Special Envoy for Tourism Ambassador Alfredo Yao, Consuls Mellie and Louie Ablaza and Consuls Fortune and Rene Ledesma. They were flown in via Seair, provider of the fastest flights to Boracay. The festivities included a powerful performance by the country’s concert queen Pops Fernandez.
As a fitting crescendo to a dazzling night, a breathtaking fireworks display was provided for by Scorpion Iloilo Fireworks.
Congratulations!
