A serene place to be

The Friends of the Cultural Concerns of the Philippines (FCCP) recently visited the first triple-A resort located along Boracay’s famed powdery white beach — Boracay Regency Beach Resort and Convention Center. It was love at first sight for Tessie Briones, Mellie Ablaza, Grace Tiongco, Nenuca Blardony and the whole FCCP officers and members as they marveled at the newly opened Garden Wing of the resort.  They experienced first hand some of Regency’s 90 luxurious units and 18 suites including a grand staircase that seem to lead up to the sky — all designed with an Asian tropical motif and home to the island’s largest convention facility. All rooms were envisioned by Boracay Regency Beach Resort and Convention Center chairman and president Henry Chusuey to open up to a swimming pool and harness the calming qualities of water.

See you all at Boracay Regency!

Another enchanting evening

It was another enchanted evening only Moet-Hennessy’s luxury wines division Estates and Wines could deliver. The intimate dinner was hosted by Monsieur Bruno Yvon, regional director of estates and wines. A wine connoisseur that he is, Monsieur Yvon ably paired the Cape Mentelle white wines and the Greenpoint red wines with the delectable creations of chef extraordinaire Colin Mackay of Sala. The evening was concluded by the Andes Mountains nurtured Terrazas Affincado Malbec paired with cheeses. It was truly another new wine discovery from the emerging grand crus of the new world wines.

Cheers to Moet-Hennessy’s Olga Azarcon and Randy Uson!
