MANILA, Philippines - The Philippine State College of Aeronautics (PhilSCA) will be undergoing accreditation of its programs in the field of aeronautical engineering and computer-based airline courses this month. Dubbed as the only state institution of higher learning devoted to the advancement of technological instructions and trainings in the field of aeronautics and aviation-related courses, PhilSCA will be the first aeronautical institution in the country to be accredited by the Accrediting Agency for Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP).
PhilSCA students have been the consistent topnotchers in the aeronautical licensure examinations given by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) for six years. Last November 2010 Aeronautical Engineering Licensure Examinations, PhilSCA has proven once again its excellence in aeronautical engineering course when Engr. Kenneth Rene Ian Talag topped the said exam with Engrs. Johpa Marra Eizara Alinea and Oscar Dominguiano Jr landing at 4th and 7th place respectively.
PhilSCA lives up to its vision of producing world-class aeronautics professionals imbued with commitment, excellence, responsibility and integrity through advance level of instruction and research.
