MANILA, Philippines - The Department of Education (DepEd) is poised to beef up the manpower of public schools through the administration of the National Qualifying Examination for Principals (NQEP) on March 20, 2010.
Spearheaded by the National Educators of Academy of the Philippines (NEAP), the NQEP is administered as a mechanism in selecting competent school heads. The examination is open to Head Teacher, Teacher-in-Charge, Master Teacher and Teacher III who have an aggregate experience of at least five years.
CCR Review Center, the country’s most reputable review center in education, is offering review classes for NQEP to assist the country’s future school heads. The review will be held on March 13-17, 2010 at Santa Catalina College, Legarda St., Sampaloc, Manila.
It will cover topics such as, School Leadership, Instructional Leadership, Creating Learning Climate, Professional Human Resources and Professional Development, Parent Involvement and Community Partnership, School Management and Daily Operations, Personal Integrity and Interpersonal Effectiveness, English Proficiency and Reading Comprehension.
The classes will be handled by competent and veteran lecturers from prestigious educational institutions who will focus not only on theories but on actual application of these theories culled from their years of experience as educators.
