MANILA, Philippines – A new education program is set to showcase children’s inquisitiveness and impart the importance of science learning on May 30, 2009 at Museo Pambata in Roxas Boulevard, Manila.
Dubbed as “So Genius!” the event is the culmination of Gakken Science Experiment Classrooms (Gakken SEC) summer camp, featuring one hundred kids who will showcase their various science projects through an interactive exhibit.
Exclusively distributed by CreativeChallenge Inc., Gakken SEC is a science program developed in Tokyo, Japan, which uses experiential learning approach to help build scientific skills and attitudes of children.
During the event, there will be an open house of the Gakken SEC experiments, science-related activity games, and an awarding ceremony.
A symposium on the importance of science will also be held with speakers William Lorenzana Jr., vice president for Corporate Supply Chain of Jollibee Foods and Cristina Lim-Yuson, president and CEO of Museo Pambata Foundation, who will share how important is science in their work.
