A person’s education is a continuous process. From the moment you step inside a classroom as a preparatory pupil up to the time you finish whatever course you want to pursue in College. Still your formal education doesn’t end there. If you want to keep abreast with new trends, it is a must that you continue your studies.
As a mentor, this was what I had in mind when I decided to pursue my Master of Arts in Education, not only for my personal upliftment but also for the sake of those students who wanted to learn what I could impart to them.
As a teacher, I don’t want to disappoint them. For me, this is my vocation in life, to be able to help in my own way in guiding these students in choosing their career, thereby become the pride of our beloved Alma Mater – Divine Word College of San Jose and their family and become a productive member of our community.
I wish our dear school administrators to please continue to give the youth the education they need, quench their thirst for learning, and give them the quality of learning they have accorded me. Strive to add more courses to the present curriculum. This way, those who couldn’t afford a city education will have a chance to be of equal standing with their peers from the metropolis in terms of job opportunities. Parents will heartily endorse this.
Furthermore, I also implore my co-teachers to be more generous with their knowledge, time and efforts in shaping the future of the youth entrusted in their care. We are a very great factor in their lives. Give them not only knowledge but instill this with love for them, awaken their passion for learning with the conviction that someday they will do the same to their successors.
May my school continue to shine on like a beacon light in this vast sea of learning.
