MANILA, Philippines - The Supreme Court (SC) is studying the possibility of holding bar exams in Visayas and Mindanao after the Cebu City Council passed a resolution asking the high court to hold the exams outside Metro Manila.
The Cebu City Council made the request last Nov. 19 after passing Resolution 13-0685-2013.
The SC justices referred the request to the Committee on Bar Examinations after the recommendation made by the Office of the Bar Confidant.
"The Court Resolved, upon the recommendation of the Office of the Bar Confidant, to Refer this matter to the Committee on Bar Examinations for consideration," the SC resolution noted.
The bar examinations is being held only in Metro Manila.
