DISRESPECTFUL TO ELDERS. An Ear informer shared an unfortunate experience he witnessed between a taxi driver and an old lady. The informer, while driving his car along the corner of Osmeña Boulevard and P. Burgos Street, near the Basilica del Sto. Niño, when he saw an old lady being manhandled by a taxi driver. “Molabang unta to ang tiguwang unya kay nisirit man og dagan ang taxi, ni atras. Nasuko ang taxi driver, nigawas sa iyang taxi ug gilabnot ang tiguwang nga nahadlok intawn,” said the informer.
HELP. The informer tried to pacify the taxi driver telling him to let it go, especially that the old lady was already very scared. “Gi-ingnan man hinuon ko nga ayaw pag apil-apil ha,” said the informer, who, after seeing a CITOM enforcer nearby, honked his horn to get the enforcer’s attention. “Pagkakita sa taga CITOM, ang taxi driver nibuhi sa tiguwang, nisakay sa iyang taxi ug nisibat.
