ACCESS RAMPS AGAIN. The Ear has received, for the second time, a reader’s complaint concerning the access ramps for the disabled. A reader who identified himself as the father of a handicapped wheelchair-bound elementary pupil, said many sidewalks and buildings do not have access ramps required by law.
BLOCKED. The reader said some access ramps are blocked by things like bicycle or motorcycles and goods. One of such ramps, located near the waterfront area, was blocked by a pile of sacks of rice. “Ang ubang ramps hiktin kayo dili kaagian og wheelchair,” said the reader.
