The entry of every potential alumna into the portals of SAINT THERESA’S COLLEGE signals her quest for a life of meaning, inner strength, true authenticity and purpose. This also indicates that both student and parents believe that these goals can be attained ONLY in this institution, HENCE, THE CHOICE, by unlocking the individual’s very core and directing the essential self towards what is precious in life. And STC continues to perform this feat of “providing a TRANSFORMATIVE EDUCATION WITH EXCELLENCE IN VIRTUE, SCIENCE and THE ARTS” steeped with the core values of “FAITH, JUSTICE, TRUTH, SERVICE, INTEGRITY and PEACE.” Hence, the THERESIAN is a woman with A STRONGER PURPOSE IN LIFE and a MORE ENDURING BOND WITH GOD.
As such, we fully RECOGNIZE, as part of academic freedom guaranteed under the Constitution, the institution’s right TO IMPOSE DISCIPLINE ON ITS STUDENTS IN AND OUT OF THE CAMPUS, for the foundation of our roles as women depends on how we view ourselves FROM THE INSIDE OUT.
We are in FULL SUPPORT of the institution’s continuing mission TO INSTILL AND UPHOLD CHRISTIAN VALUES ON MORALITY AND PROPRIETY, for the essence of a Christian individual SHOULD NEVER BE DEFINED BY SOCIETY and its volatile tastes.
