Erap as love consultant

Erap has offered P-Noy his service as “love consultant.” As one French journalist I knew would say: “Lovely!” And P-Noy should accept the offer… without questioning Erap’s qualifications.

Erap has acknowledged in public that he has sired 12 children with six different women. (Philstar, April 21/12). That qualifies him to act as love consultant for P-Noy whose love affairs seem to have been all flops … so far, at least.

A man and a woman were seen quarreling near the railing of the old Mandaue-Mactan bridge one night recently. A concerned motorcyclist stopped to find out what the matter was, fearing the quarrel might lead to something tragic. “Buanga,” said the motorcyclist later. “Naglalis ra diay kay nangil-aran ang babaye sa tupi sa lalaki.”

Reader Nestor Yabes of Lopez Jaena St., this city, said in aphone call: “Years ago when I was yet a boy in Iligan, my father told me that Mindanao would be very progressive because Iligan City, with its promise as power supplier, would be the key to progress in the region. Now, what happened to that promise of progress? My father who is now past 90 years of age could only shake his head.”

The anti-American activists defaced the front fence-wall of the US Embassy. They even tore down some metal signage of the Embassy. Noy Timyong wants to know: “Since a foreign Embassy is considered the territory of the country owning it, isn’t it only proper for our government to go hammer and tongs against the vandals?”
