Do lechons tagged Cebu Lechon really come from Cebu? “As far as I know,” says our informer, “some of the pigs come from Cebu but roasted in a Metro Manila town.” The town’s name is withheld on request.
NOT PATENTED. Someone has said to our informer that the name “Cebu Lechon” is not patented so “anyone can claim his lechon is ‘Cebu Lechon’ even if it doesn’t actually come from Cebu,” the informer said.
