SMOKING NO MORE. A male public school teacher had been a cigarette smoker since his early years in college. It just occurred to him one day that he must do something about his smoking. He wanted to kick the habit. “It was difficult,” he said. “Then I read an article on how to quit smoking.” He followed the tips. To make the long story short, he won his fight against a habit that, according to him, made him lose the woman he had wanted to be his wife.”
SAVING. Without letting anyone know about what he did after winning the fight against smoking, the schoolteacher recently revealed: “I opened a savings account in the rural bank in my town where I deposited the money that I would have spent for cigarettes.” On his 60th birthday recently, he threw a party spending his savings from cigarettes. “Kadako man diay sa akong savings sud sa mga tuig nga niundang nako’s panigarilyo,” he said.
