PUJ INCIDENT. A well-dressed man with polka dotted necktie boarded a PUJ on the Mandaue side of the old bridge and greeted everyone, “Good morning, people.” Without anyone asking him where he had been, the man, about 40, said: “Gikan ko’s Opon. Nagsusi-susi unsay maayong negosyo. Wa na gyuy nahibiling yuta nga atong ma-buy en sell.”
NOT FOR SALE. He said he was interested in buying General Milling “pero di man ibaligya.” When he saw one passenger twirling his finger on his head like what people usually do to signify someone is a nut, the man said: “Hoy, hoy, buangan ka nako?” When the man was about to open his attache case (painted with the Philippine flag), the passengers rushed out of the PUJ thinking the man had a gun. One passenger shouted: “Hala, buang!”
