JULY 4TH FETE. A Filipino family celebrated July 4th last Monday. The family believed it was the true Philippine Independence Day as “it was day that we actually became an independent nation.”
TURKEY. An Ear informer who attended the celebration said there were cans of beer, lechon (representing PHL) and roasted turkey (representing American). And other foods. It was the first time the said family celebrated July 4th in Cebu. They had been celebrating it in Manila where the family came from.
