PRAISEWORTHY. A PUJ driver refused to stop and accommodate an old woman who had been waiting for a ride on Colon St. The driver's reason was that the old woman was not disabled. But two high school students told the driver to stop as they were getting down to give the old woman their seat.
FARE PAID FOR. At first, the driver would not allow the students to give their seats to the old woman. "Kinsa may mobayad sa plite sa tiguwang? Bale'g duha ra ba ka plitehan ang alkanse nako," the driver said. But no problem for the old woman as the students had already paid her fare.
