SCAREDY CAT. A photographer was asked to take photos of an undertaker carrying out an embalming for a news feature, but for some reason he kept asking his fellow photographers to do it for him. But the others were too busy and he still got stuck with the assignment. “Ingon siya hadlok kuno siya mobangon ang patay kung iya kodakan,” one of his colleagues said.
GRAVE ADMISSION. An Ear source said he was visiting his uncle’s grave last All Souls’ Day when he saw what looked like five scantily-clad women making their way to him. When they got closer it was evident that they were all males. They stopped at a grave just a few feet away from his and one of them started addressing the others. “Kani siya mao ni siya akong lolo,” he said, referring the grave, “kung buhi pa ni siya wala gyud unta ko nabayot. Kung kabalo siya nga bayot ko iya gyud ko sige’g kulatahon.” The others laughed. The group lit candles, paid their respects and talked for a while before leaving. The Ear source looked at the grave they visited and found it belonged to a retired Master Sergeant in the AFP.
