SALTY HALO-HALO. The sports editor of this paper complained to The Ear that their group were served with salty halo-halo. He and six other people dined at a Chinese fastfood restaurant along Colon St. last week and ordered seven servings of halo-halo. When they complained, they were told that one of the staff made a mistake and placed three scoops of iodized salt instead of three scoops of sugar.
SWIMMING COCKROACH. At a chicken restaurant along Ramos St., another group of diners complained to The Ear that they discovered a black cockroach swimming in the soup they ordered. This happened Thursday last week. When they complained to the waiter about the insect in their soup, the waiter threw the soup away but they were still made to pay for their ordered soup.
