Based on the records, most of them have a word or name Singh attached to their main names which indicate that they belong to a religion in India called Sikh which is predominant in Punjab. It came to the limelight when Sikh militants or extremists stormed to Golden Temple of Amritsar holding several hostages. Some also of the Indians reported to have entered are those that belong to Muslim religion. Muslims are found everywhere and some are known to have continuously embraced fundamentalist and terrorist ideals that cause destabilization to some civilized nations in the world.
If these group can get into Cebu freely in alleged connivance with some Immigration Officials one could imagine the number of migrant Indians that will be added to Cebu population after ten years. If Indians will eventually become large in number, they will surely be competing with our fellow Filipinos in the field of business and other forms of money-making ventures. They will be competing with everyone in the different field of endeavors most Filipinos often do normally.
Inevitably, some will excel in their field and will become truly successful. When this so happen, it is lamentable to think that while most Filipinos lived in hunger and abject poverty in their own land, many foreign nationals become wealthy and live much better lives than most Filipinos do.
Aside from the apparent reduction of jobs and business opportunities that most Filipinos will face with the saturation of Indian nationals in the place, the threat to the peace and order and destabilization must not also be taken for granted considering that Sikh and Muslims have also their own struggle for strict observance of their religious belief in life.
