MANILA, Philippines - Because of the horrendous traffic presumably caused by the road closures for the APEC meetings this week, a woman was forced to give birth on the street.

The incident was shared by a netizen who happened to witness the event.
On her Facebook post, Angel Ramos-Canoy said they were walking along City of Dreams when they stumbled upon the woman.
"5am, We are already on the road. Waiting for a bus/van/jeep na pwdeng masakyan. Until now, nasa kalsada pa rin kami--naglalakad along COD. Nakita namin sakto kung paano si Ate nag Labor at nanganak. Baby Boy!!"
She also said they begged the officers to get an ambulance, but even the officers could not do anything.
According to Canoy, they do not know whether the mother and new born had survived.
"The baby is still not crying... The mommy is sleeping. Or tired. Or exhausted. Perhaps, she passed out. All we can do now is PRAY.
