MANILA, Philippines — A Japanese astronaut on Saturday posted a photo of typhoon "Lando" (international name "Koppu") as seen from outer space.
Kimiya Yui took the photo from the International Space Station and posted it on his personal Twitter account.
"Another typhoon 'Koppu'... I am worried about people in the Philippines," the astronaut said.

At 4 a.m. on Monday, the typhoon was located in the vicinity of Santiago, Ilocos with maximum winds of 120 kilometers per hour (kph) and gusts of up to 150 kph. It is likely to move north northeast at 5 kph.

The typhoon will linger inside the country and expected to exit the Philippine area of responsibility by weekend, weather bureau PAGASA said.
