26 distressed OFWs return from Dubai

The returning Filipinos arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport on an Emirates flight.

MANILA, Philippines — Twenty-six distressed overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) and four dependents have returned to Manila from Dubai.

The returning Filipinos arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport on an Emirates flight.

They were welcomed by personnel of the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) and Department of Migrant Workers.

The OWWA and DMW provided airport assistance to the OFWs as part of the government’s support for distressed migrant workers returning to the country.

The OFWs will continue to receive aid as they transition back to their communities.
