MANILA, Philippines — After nine months in detention, Russian vlogger Vitaly Zdorovetskiy was deported on Saturday, according to the Bureau of Immigration. The BI said Zdorovetskiy, 33, took a connecting flight from the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 3 in Pasay to Kalibo, Aklan where he boarded a direct flight to Irkutsk, Russia.
“Zdorovetskiy harassed and humiliated several Filipinos. He also disrupted public peace and safety. He committed acts that are contrary to morals, good customs or public policy, which makes him an undesirable foreign national,” the deportation order stated.
Zdorovetskiy has been included in the BI’s blacklist to prevent him from reentering the Philippines, Immigration Commissioner Joel Anthony Viado said.
Authorities arrested Zdorovetskiy on April 2, 2025 for harassing people in Bonifacio Global City in Taguig.
Zdorovetskiy also harassed a security guard, stole a heavy-duty electric fan and hijacked a tricycle, which he crashed into a parked jeepney.
“The Philippines receives guests from all nations, but respect for our laws is non-negotiable. Those who engage in harassment or disruptive acts undermine public order and will be sanctioned,” Viado said.
