MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) has increased the minimum prize of all lotto games to a steep P90 million, as part of a marketing campaign to boost gaming revenue and charity funds.
The PCSO will mark tomorrow its 90th anniversary and the first National Day of Charity.
Adjustment in the minimum prize starts today as part of the “Anniversa-Regalo” drive.
The initiative covers Lotto 6/42, Super Lotto 6/49 and Ultra Lotto 6/58.
Mega Lotto 6/45 and Grand Lotto 6/55’s minimum jackpot will be increased tomorrow.
Prize amounts will remain unchanged for games where the current jackpot exceeds P90 million on the specified draw dates.
If the jackpot is below P90 million, the difference will be supplemented by the PCSO’s prize fund.
If the increased prizes are won, the amounts will revert to the original jackpot: Lotto 6/42, P6 million; Mega Lotto 6/45, P9 million; Super Lotto 6/49, P16 million; Grand Lotto 6/55, P30 million, and Ultra Lotto 6/58, P50 million.
