LTFRB grants 753 buses special permits for Undas

LTFRB Chairman Teofilo Guadiz said 272 special permits covering the fleet of buses have been issued.

MANILA, Philippines — The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) has granted 753 buses special permits in anticipation of the spike in passengers during the Undas break.

LTFRB Chairman Teofilo Guadiz said 272 special permits covering the fleet of buses have been issued.

The number may increase as more bus operators applied for special permits on Tuesday, Guadiz said.

The special permits that allow buses to ply other routes are valid until Nov. 10.

Guadiz said the LTFRB has ramped up Undas preparations, including inspections at bus terminals nationwide.
