MANILA, Philippines — The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) is on the lookout for a motorist who drove off after getting involved in a road incident in Taguig.
Videos posted on the agency’s Facebook page showed an MMDA traffic enforcer climbing onto the hood of a red car being chased by another enforcer in blue uniform.
The MMDA traffic enforcer tried to stop the motorist from driving away, according to a report on GMA News.
In another video clip supposedly filmed by a motorcycle rider who was also involved in the incident, the motorist, kept on driving even with other traffic enforcers running after the car, apparently a Hyundai Stargazer.
The car’s logo, license plate and conduction sticker were blurred, based on the MMDA video.
MMDA assistant general manager for operations David Angelo Vargas said the incident happened on Tuesday.
The agency said it would file charges against the driver and recommend to the Land Transportation Office to cancel his license.
