30 distressed OFWs back from Kuwait

MANILA, Philippines — Thirty more distressed overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) have returned from Kuwait, the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) said yesterday.

The OFWs arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport on Flight QR 934 from Kuwait.

“The repatriation of our Filipino workers continues,” the OWWA said.

Upon arrival at the airport, the OFWs were given food, hotel accommodation as well as financial and transportation assistance so they could return to their provinces.

Twenty OFWs returned home from Kuwait on Monday night, according to OWWA.
