LAGUNA, Philippines — Three men posing as customers robbed a branch of the 7-Eleven convenience store in Calamba City in this province on Sunday morning.
Aside from the store’s earnings, the robbers took away the personal belongings of the employees and customers, including their jewelry and phones.
Reports said the men entered the store in Barangay Batino at past 4 a.m. and declared the heist.
At gunpoint, the robbers herded the employees and customers into the staff room, where their hands were bound with wire.
The robbers used a crowbar to pry open the vault and took the store’s earnings amounting to P25,800.
