MANILA, Philippines — The 3,812 people who passed the 2023 Bar examinations will take their oath and sign the Roll of Attorneys today.
The new lawyers will take their oath before the Supreme Court (SC) justices in ceremonies starting at 2 p.m. at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City.
Fee for admission and certification is P5,190.
This year’s Bar examination is the first time that successful examinees will be admitted into the legal profession on the same year they took the tests.
In previous years, results of the examinations were released during the first quarter of the following year after they took the exams.
“Indeed, 2023 is a historic year for the Philippine Bar as it is also the year when the SC released the results of both the 2022 and the 2023 Bar exams,” the high court said in a statement.
