MANILA, Philippines — A 17-year-old boy survived a shooting incident in Quezon City yesterday.
The victim is recuperating in an undisclosed hospital from gunshot wounds he sustained during the attack that occurred in Barangay Culiat at around 3:30 a.m.
Police investigators said the teenager was standing in front of an eatery along Luzon Avenue when the assailant, known by the alias “Muslim,” arrived on a motorcycle.
The assailant pulled out a .45-caliber handgun and shot the victim three times before fleeing in an unknown direction.
Police launched a manhunt for the assailant.
