MANILA, Philippines — Anti-narcotics operatives intercepted P14.3 million worth of the party drug Ecstasy in Pasay on Wednesday.
The police Drug Enforcement Group said 8,446 pills of Ecstasy were seized during an interdiction operation at the Central Mail Exchange Center.
Police said four of the five parcels of drugs originated from the Netherlands while the other came from France.
The drugs were turned over to the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency.
An investigation is underway to determine the sources of the drugs, police said.
