MANILA, Philippines — Two bettors won the jackpot in the 6/42 Regular Lotto drawn on Tuesday night.
Melquiades Robles, Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) general manager and vice chairman of the board, said the tickets of a bettor from Batangas and another from Zambales matched the winning numbers 09-06-29-07-05-19, which had a jackpot of P5.94 million.
The winning tickets were bought from lotto outlets in Lipa City and San Antonio town.
Seventy-eight other bettors won P24,000 each for guessing five of the winning numbers.
The Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion or TRAIN Law imposes a 20 percent tax on lotto winnings above P10,000.
The 6/42 Regular Lotto is drawn every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
