BAGUIO CITY , Philippines — The famous night market along Harrison Road in this city resumed operations yesterday.
At least 352 stalls were allowed to open.
The night market was closed when Luzon was placed under enhanced community quarantine due to the COVID-19 pandemic in March last year.
It reopened last Dec. 1, but was closed again due to violations of health and safety protocols. It reopened on Dec. 11, but was closed again when the entire Cordilleras reverted to general community quarantine on Feb. 1.
Prior to the pandemic, there were more than 1,000 stalls in the night market.
