MANILA, Philippines — The Makati government will suspend the modified number coding scheme for the holidays.
In a Facebook post on Tuesday, the city government said the traffic scheme would be suspended on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, Rizal Day, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.
Vehicles with two passengers are also exempted from the number coding scheme.
In June, Makati implemented the modified number coding scheme when Metro Manila was placed under general community quarantine.
