MANILA, Philippines — The Metro Rail Transit Line 3 (MRT-3) will give free rides to Filipino war veterans from April 5 to 11 as part of the observance of Araw ng Kagitingan or Day of Valor and Philippine Veterans Week.
In an advisory issued yesterday, the MRT-3 said the veterans could avail themselves of free rides from 5:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.
The management said the veterans must present their identification card from the Philippine Veterans Affairs Office.
Earlier, the Light Rail Transit Line 2 announced that it is giving free rides to war veterans from 4:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.
