Fire breaks out in Manila

MANILA, Philippines — A fire of unknown origin struck a lamination factory in Sta. Ana, Manila yesterday morning.

The Manila Fire Department said no one was injured in the incident.

Arson probers said the fire broke out at the factory along New Panaderos street in Sta. Ana at around 9 a.m.

The fire reached the second alarm before it was placed under control at around 10:40 a.m.

Authorities said they have yet to determine the cause of the fire.
