MANILA, Philippines - At least two suspected pushers were killed by police in Caloocan City and Quezon City on Sunday.
Acting on a tip that a drug deal was being conducted on Salmon street in Barangay 8, Caloocan anti-narcotics police officers proceeded to the area.
Joselito Regis was killed when he reportedly shot at the lawmen, who arrested Arthur de Vera and Josephine Gracia.
A .38 caliber revolver and two sachets of shabu were recovered at the scene.
In Quezon City, Dominic Valencia was killed in an alleged shootout during a sting at his house on Ginintuang Landas street in Barangay Sta. Monica.
