MANILA, Philippines – A man suffered serious injuries when the motorcycle he was driving was struck by a sport utility vehicle (SUV) being driven by actor Baron Geisler in Barangay Balibago in Angeles City, Pampanga on Wednesday night.
Jioly Rigor, 58, a resident of Barangay Dau, Mabalacat, Pampanga was brought to a hospital for treatment.
Senior Superintendent Sidney Villaflor, Angeles City police director, said they filed charges against Geisler, who was reportedly drunk when the incident occurred.
Last year, Geisler also figured in a pre-dawn road accident in Pasig City.
Geisler’s SUV was wrecked after it collided with a truck. No one was reported injured in the accident.
