TUGUEGARAO CITY, Philippines – Police arrested a 31-year-old barangay councilman and two other persons caught in a drug session in Tabuk City, Kalinga on Wednesday.
Antonio Wayet of Barangay Casigayan reportedly yielded a plastic sachet said to contain shabu, according to Chief Superintendent Gilbert Fati-ig, city police chief.
Wayet was arrested along with Daniel Angayen, 33, and Boyd Neil Diasen, 45, at the house of Linaw Widwid in Barangay Dagupan West.
Widwid was not around when the raid occurred.
Meanwhile agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) arrested Ryan Regaro, 26, for allegedly selling shabu to an undercover agent in this city.
Regaro reportedly yielded 12 plastic sachets said to contain shabu with an estimated value of P225,000, according to PDEA Region 2 director Derrick Carreon.
The suspect was reportedly the most wanted drug personality in the city.
